Sophisticated Spring Farmhouse Wedding

Monica and Zach’s wedding journey took an unexpected turn when the pandemic hit just as we began planning their celebration. Faced with the uncertainty of the world, they made the decision to hold a small, intimate ceremony at their home, surrounded by close family and friends. The ceremony, set outdoors in the beauty of spring, was a heartfelt moment that allowed them to safely celebrate their love in a personal and meaningful way.

Once the world began to open up again, we shifted our focus to planning their larger celebration. The couple chose the stunning Farmhouse as the venue for their reception, and we set out to create a luxurious and sophisticated farmhouse wedding. Although navigating a post-pandemic wedding presented new challenges, the opportunity to bring their vision to life was truly special.

We worked closely with Monica and Zach to design a breathtaking atmosphere that showcased the elegant floral arrangements that lined the aisle and the striking floral feature above the fireplace from Bloome. A highlight of the day was our suggestion to include a live musician for the ceremony. The talented Dawn Bishop played the harp, adding a touch of grace and beauty to the occasion.

As the day unfolded, the weather posed another challenge—heavy rain threatened the outdoor ceremony. But we quickly adapted, moving the ceremony inside while maintaining every design detail and ensuring the floral arrangements remained a focal point.

The celebration continued with exquisite food from True Cuisine and and energetic performance from BeatMix. One of the most personal touches was Monica’s meticulously designed wedding cake, adorned with sugar florals she crafted herself, adding a unique and conversation-worthy element to the celebration.

Despite the hurdles they faced, the day was a resounding success. The breathtaking photos by Tim Tab Studios and the beautifully captured film by Imagination Designers truly told the story of Monica and Zach’s journey—a journey filled with love, resilience, and, ultimately, a celebration worth the wait.
