Inclusive LGBTQ+ Wedding in Chicago

This celebration was inspired by a bold vision of embracing vibrant color, stepping beyond trends, and curating a truly exceptional guest experience. The Penthouse Hyde Park provided the perfect setting for this distinctive, upscale wedding. The venue exudes luxury, and its two-story bridal suite is a showstopper in itself. When we began planning, we were given the creative freedom to push boundaries and create something extraordinary.

The ceremony featured an abstract floral design that formed a breathtaking backdrop, setting the tone for a celebration of love. One of the most striking personal touches was Alexa’s decision to wear a chic all-white suit instead of traditional wedding attire, a bold move that added a modern flair. To continue the theme of breaking tradition, a stunning floral ring replaced the traditional bouquet, offering a fresh and elegant alternative. Working alongside Victoria at Atmosphere Events Group was an absolute pleasure—her vision continues to inspire, and her ability to craft unique, luxurious designs allowed us to push the limits of creativity.

The reception was nothing short of extraordinary. The floral arrangements were stunning, capturing the rich colors of the season. To ensure guest comfort and elegance, we created a sophisticated mix of long tables with luxurious chairs from Nuage Designs and round tables paired with crescent-shaped couches from AFR Furniture Rental. The combination of round tables and crescent couches was a standout feature, offering both style and comfort. Each table was adorned with gold-rimmed chargers, black and gold flatware, gilded-rimmed glasses, and Effortless Events’ signature blue-colored water glasses, all thoughtfully sourced through Hall’s Rental. The personal details were impeccable. Handwritten tassel place cards by Calligraphy by CT added an elegant, bespoke touch. Christy Tyler Photography flawlessly captured every moment, preserving the beauty and artistry of this inclusive LGBTQ+ wedding in Chicago.
